Product Engineer - Enterprise

About the Role

The Enterprise team builds the core products that enable companies to become "enterprise-ready": SSO (supporting any SAML or OIDC identity provider through a single integration), Directory Sync (SCIM-based user lifecycle management), Audit Logs, RBAC, and the Admin Portal (a self-serve interface for corporate IT admins). These products are WorkOS's foundation, connecting to 20+ enterprise services including Okta, Azure/Entra ID, Google Workspace, OneLogin, ADFS, JumpCloud, PingIdentity, and more.

What You'll Do

• Build highly flexible, pluggable products for enterprise identity and access management
• Design APIs that normalize the differences across directory providers and identity systems
• Build webhook and event-driven architectures for real-time directory synchronization
• Develop and extend the Admin Portal for self-serve IT admin onboarding
• Work directly with leadership on greenfield ideas
• Collaborate with solutions engineering and go-to-market teams on enterprise customer needs
• Unify fragmented admin ecosystems and workflows into clean developer abstractions

What We Look For

• 5+ years of industry software development experience
• Deep understanding of enterprise identity protocols (SAML, SCIM, OIDC)
• Experience building integrations across multiple third-party providers
• Familiarity working on small teams in fast-paced, high-agency environments
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres
• Strong API design skills with a focus on developer experience
• Experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or enterprise infrastructure is a plus
• Familiarity with directory services (Okta, Azure AD, Workday) is a plus
