Define system architecture supporting millions of daily API requests and build infrastructure for dozens of millions of daily emails at Resend, the modern email platform for developers.

What You'll Do

• Define system architecture supporting millions of daily API requests
• Build and maintain infrastructure for dozens of millions of daily emails
• Enhance high availability across distributed systems
• Optimize databases for performance and reliability
• Improve observability and monitoring
• Design async pipelines handling tens of millions of daily messages
• Develop infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (CDK/Terraform)
• Participate in on-call rotation

What We Look For

• 8+ years backend engineering with cloud infrastructure
• Expertise in TypeScript and Golang
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, SQS/SNS
• Database expertise (Postgres, ClickHouse)
• Distributed systems experience
• Infrastructure as Code (CDK/Terraform)
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog)

Compensation

• $150,000 – $170,000 base
