Lead technical vision within Cal.com's product teams and establish engineering standards for the open-source scheduling platform used by thousands of teams worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical vision within product teams
• Mentor engineers across all levels
• Establish engineering standards
• Review complex PRs and ensure quality standards
• Investigate and fix complicated issues across the platform
• Embed with product teams through development milestones
• Drive code design improvements

What We Look For

• 8+ years shipping production TypeScript/Node.js
• Expertise with clean coding, Domain-Driven Design, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Next.js, NestJS, tRPC, Tailwind, Postgres/Prisma
• Familiarity with AWS, Checkly, Sentry, Elastic
• Comfort being on-call and leading incident response
• Mentorship mindset

Compensation

• $132,000 base + equity
• Location-independent salary
