Design Engineer

About the Role

A hybrid design-engineering role at Supabase working on the open-source Firebase alternative. You'll be part of the product team building developer-facing UI and design system components.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Supabase's design system
• Create developer-facing UI components and experiences
• Bridge design and engineering for the Supabase dashboard
• Contribute to the open-source project
• Work closely with product and engineering to ship cohesive experiences

What We Look For

• Strong frontend engineering skills (React, TypeScript)
• Design sensibility and UI/UX expertise
• Experience with design systems
• Open-source contribution experience is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment
